CLOSING STATUS 24/7:

With our web-based order tracking system you can easily track the status of your order online 24 hours a day 7 days a week. DRI contacts the parties involved along the way via email to keep them up to date on what has been completed in the order.

ESCROW:

We hold the buyer’s earnest money deposit in trust until the closing is complete. As the transaction is completed we take all money in escrow and disburse funds according to all parties’ direction.

REVIEW DOCUMENTS:

We thoroughly review all sales closing documents with you so you can sign your documents with confidence. Our closers are knowledgeable and experienced and want you to understand the terms so you are comfortable during the closing process. 

FOR SALE BY OWNER:(FSBO)

Standard Real Estate Closing Costs

TITLE INSURANCE:

This fee is based on the purchase price of the property and the cost is customarily split between buyer and seller, unless the purchase agreement states otherwise

TERMITE INSPECTION:

The cost of the inspection is typically the responsibility of the buyer unless otherwise stated in the contract. Termite inspections typically cost between $70 and $80, depending on the termite inspection company and location of property

PROPERTY TAXES:

Property taxes are prorated based on the terms of the purchase agreement.

RECORDING FEES:

The seller is responsible for the cost associated with recording the Deed of Reconveyance/Release of any Mortgages, Deeds of Trust or Liens on the property. These recording fees are approximately $20/document.

DOCUMENTARY STAMP TAX:

The Documentary Stamp Tax is typically paid by the seller(s). The Documentary Stamp Tax for the state of Nebraska is $2.25 per thousand of the purchase price. 

HOME WARRANTY:

The cost of a Home Warranty and by whom it is paid is determined in the Purchase Agreement. The average cost of a home warranty is around $395-$450.
